Oh wow, I have so much to say to that! I was in the hospital doing NOTHING for 2 months last summer! Well I got outside and made friends, but no family, no getting off grounds, and no internet (kinda). I experimented with all and any kinds of interests and hobbies. It was such a good opportunity to do that. I'm now doing the stuff that I never would have known I could do, or known I would enjoy- the collage art. I made it up one day as a journal form. But then one of my friends said to me, long after the hospital, to try and make them on big canvases like actual artwork. I tried it out, and I am still in the beginning stages. I've been doing it for 2 months. Like I said, I never would have even heard of doing it unless I had that free "bored" time to figure it out. You'll figure out your thing. Maybe it will incorporate your kids, maybe it will be on your own! :) When you figure it out, it will be easy and therapeutic, and people will tell you you're good at it. You'll know when you find it.

*hugs* at the end of the day hun, you just gotta try things! Because I'm so tired all the time (thanks to the CFS), I often dream things and write them down or I surf the internet and pretend to spend money (that I don't have) or write emails, or learn things that I have wanted. I try to just ahve a range of different activities that I can do when I'm feeling different ways. Let us know what you come up with hunni!!! xoxo

Hey Z: I understand the boredom but isn't it much better then Ed. I think your idea of taking an art class is a good idea. Who knows down the road you may even go back to school for something. I think this may be a good time to focus on your dreams. Can you make some life goals on your blog?
I know the struggle is still hard but you are doing it Zena and I'm so proud of you! I have the same fear of not having a treatment team if I get all better. The road ahead may be tough but it seems alot more doable when others are on the same path. I love you to bits! I think I'll go write on my blog.

Distractions! My favorite leisure activities (to get away from ED) are journalling, watching television, and doing craft projects. FInd what you're good at. :)
